# About Salah Flow

> A beautifully designed, ad-free prayer tracker that helps you visualise your salah journey. Welcoming for reverts, thoughtful for sisters, accessible to all.

## What Salah Flow is

Salah Flow is a prayer tracker built for Muslims who feel left behind by mainstream apps. We’re not another prayer time app with countless features. We do one thing: help you track your salah beautifully, consistently and accurately.

What makes us different? We’re designed for inclusion and accessibility from the ground up, not as an afterthought. That means dyslexia-friendly fonts and layouts, colour-blind-safe design, and a menstruation tracking mode that actually respects women’s experience. We’re building this because the Muslim community includes people with different needs who are often overlooked.

## Our Journey

We’re Rene and Nieves, a husband and wife who found Islam from opposite corners of the world.

- **Rene Pupala** (Co-Founder | Husband): Rene, a Slovak who once felt lost in the noise of this dunya, found peace when he discovered the truth of Islam.
- **Nieves Yang** (Co-Founder | Wife): Nieves, born in Spain to Chinese immigrants, was moved by the warmth of the Muslim community and the beauty of prayer.

## The Struggle

**We noticed something missing.**

The apps we tried felt too busy, with cluttered screens, endless features, and no real sense of where we stood with our prayers. There was no way to see our salah journey.

Prayer deserves clarity, not clutter. We wanted a way to bring design and devotion together, simple, intentional, and centred on worship.

## Why we built Salah Flow

As a tech consultant and passionate product designer, Rene spent years building digital experiences that simplify complexity.

With her background in psychology and special & inclusive education, Nieves understands how people learn, grow, and connect.

So we combined our worlds to build Salah Flow: a calm, minimal space that helps Muslims visualise & strengthen their connection to Allah through the rhythm of prayer.

## What we stand for

- **Free forever.** No ads. No paywalls. Everyone gets the full app. No exceptions.
- **Made by reverts.** Created by reverts, inspired by sincerity. Every detail reflects a desire to help Muslims reconnect with Allah.
- **Privacy first.** We will never use your data for advertising and we will never sell or share it.

## How we keep it free

Yes, Salah Flow is completely free. No paywalls, no “premium” tiers, no features locked behind payment. Everyone gets the full app, period.

Why? Because our mission is accessibility and inclusion. The moment we charge money, we exclude Muslims who can’t afford it. That defeats the entire point of what we’re building.

So how do we keep the lights on? Optional donations from users who believe in keeping Salah Flow free for everyone. If the app helps you establish consistent salah and you have the means, you can donate within the app. Your donation directly funds development, accessibility improvements, and keeping the app free for those who need it most.

If you can’t donate or choose not to, that’s completely fine. You get the exact same app, the same features, the same support. No guilt, no pressure, no second-class experience.
